Hey guys, one of my clients (snow clearing equipment niche) has a bunch of articles posted back in 2010-2014, and the key thing is that they still drive organic traffic. So I decided to update them in order to get more traffic and maybe some conversions. Any ideas how I can do it in the best way? Any advice would be appreciated, feel free to share your experience in updating old content.


So, you decided to update the content. Have you asked yourself this question that whether or not the content is updateble?

You are saying that you have clients and still you are asking these questions. Man!!! I pity your clients.


Seems to me in a niche like that you could have a lot of evergreen content and if those articles you're talking about are evergreen i would think that any updating is unnecessary.

And if those articles are driving organic traffic why mess with them?


Rather than updating the same old, find a way to add more content if possible, it should improve your visibility.
