Having done some rough calcs both strategies look to be extremely close on time with the 2 stop probably slightly quicker. I did just over a race distance on my own and still gran turismo community to spin 4 times, this race will probably come down to who is the most consistent. The time trial times will be faster than what you can achieve in the race as they appear to be with an empty tank. In qualifying for the race it's a good idea to keep getting laps in the burn off your fuel then just have enough in for a couple of hot laps, it makes quite gran turismo community difference. Well it seems I still had racing soft tyres on the Ferrari from the Alsace race, whoops. I thought I'd try again with super softs on the Ferrari and see if it can compete and the answer is, sort of. You can see how much more of the track I have to use in the Ferrari to get an equivalent time, also the Ferrari is much shorter geared, so whilst I still think the Ferrari is slower overall, the real killer of its performance though, even ignoring tyre wear etc.
