God is watching
All the time

Thinking of trimming your toe nails?
Well, think again
Because GOD IS WATCHING

God is watching your every move
Burped? Moved your bowels?
Well, God saw that. And that too

God is interested in your guts
Is your lower intestine looking fine?
Because God also watches you from the inside

Check your Bible, consult your oracle
See if cutting your toe nails will enrage Him
Because it certainly annoys me
You keep doing that awful clicking sound all the time, ugh
Just quit it
But that's a matter for another poem

By the time you're completely sure
That trimming toe nails isn't a sin
They'll have grown so long
They'll have bent and cut through your skin

Like a beaver impaled in its own teeth
You'll be pierced in the middle by your long dirt nails
"But at least," you'll think
In the last moments before the nails sting your brain
"At least
I didn't sin."
