So when I was in high school and we were learning about Asian history, it's no surprise that we touched on Attila the Hun. I actually was pretty interested about the guy, so did tons of reading on him. It got to a point where I had a dog name Attila. Needless to say, it wasn't a very good name, as the dog became as brutal as his namesake. He had to be put down.

That was the last time I decided to name a pet after a historical figure.
