You want to increase the performance of an application on Windows? Well, read the steps below. 1. Open task manager. If you do not know how to open it, simultaneously press the “Windows” and “R” key; This will open up a text box. In the text box, type “taskmgr” 2. Now that you have task manager open, navigate to the “Details” tab; If you cannot see the details tab, look in the bottom left and click “More Details”; IMPORTANT: Make sure the desired application is open and running 3. Now find the process in the “Details” tab that is responsible for the application you want to increase the performance of; 4. Right click the desired process 5. Choose from the dropdown list “Change Priority” 6. This part is important: Set the priority to “High” or “Above Normal”; setting the priority to “Realtime” will likely crash your computer due to it allocating all of its resources. Make sure you don’t click on “Realtime” 7. Once you have set the priority, you can exit out of task manager. The priority of all processes will be reset when they are closed or when the computer is shut down.
