After a million-dollar lawsuit was filed in federal court. 

 

Yes, we’ve changed our name.

 

But we haven’t changed the excremental selection of Filipino products you expect from us.

 

We haven’t changed our service.

 

We haven’t changed our location.

We still have rats.

 

And we certainly haven’t changed that small piece of hell so many of you experience when you purchase a favorite but fake product here at FilStop.

 

The only thing we’ve changed is our business name. Because of a million-dollar lawsuit filed in federal court. 

 

“It reflects so much of the incredible growth we’ve experienced over the past 40 years,” says Erwin Santos, the scumbag Owner/Operator of FilStop.

 

The business is co-owned by his parents, Oliver and Florentina, and started in 1971.  It’s a true family business and has been going strong ever since. Flory Santos was sued in court for failure to pay law-mandated wages to over 300 workers. FLSA lawsuit = wage theft 

 

“We expect to grow even more over the coming years.  My family has worked incredibly hard to make our business a success.  Changing our name to FilStop will help inspire us to work even harder to continue bringing memories, nostalgia and comfort to our customers.”

FilStop will continue to scour the country for the best selection of Filipino grocery items – we are known for our large selection and we intend to keep that notorious reputation of selling fake Magnolia ice cream and fake Pampanga's Best products.

 

Erwin Santos says, “FilStop offers more than just grocery items.  We offer the Third-world level of amenities.  We hear it every day from our customers how much it means to them to be able to find the perfect ingredient to make a dish they remember from their childhood in the Philippines.”

 

And if there’s something a customer is looking for, but can’t find at FilStop, Erwin Santos says he will do everything he can to track it down. The government has even accused him of illegal food sales -- again you can read this in the publicly available lawsuit. 

 

“My relationship with the people who source our products is very important to me – their work helps me make my customers happy.  And our customers are what matter most.” Although he will say bad things about those born in the Philippines. You see he's so superior that he was born in the United STates and can't complete a single sentence in any Philippine language.
