When both sources are compared, we can clearly see disinct differences
between how the insitutions are run. 

Within Source A, unquestionably the insitutiation is run with an attitude of
firm but fair - almost as if it was army-like - the instituation with the aid ofthe wardens
treat the inmates witha sense of solidarity as well as some reverance; 'with almost precision,
and retired, some to wash the entrance'. This may convey that the feeling of deference is mutual
one between the officers and prisoners, with the officers telling - prisoners cleaning without
hesitiation. In addition, the atmosphere of the establishment was an ebullient and
vigorous where everyone executing some type of work; 'the prison was all alive, and
humming like a hive with the acitvity of its inmates'.

However, alternatively within Source B, the insitituation is clearly run with an attitude the upmost
contempt and opprobrium towards the inmates; 'concrete path within a very high fence topped with razor
wire'. This indicates that the convicts are completely mistrusted by the establishment they are within
and by the fact of 'very high fence' implys that the are like caged animals - dehumanized and confined.
On top of the that, the idea of mistrust is further emphasised when in the third paragraph it states, 
'have to be opened by a member of staff. The spaces and rooms steadily get smaller and more enclosed
as you enter each new section.' The additional security with each stage as you progress through the
prison, shows that the insitituion sees the inmates as miniacious and murderous.
