When it propts you for a pasworf, type it in and press enter.

Note taking: "sudo apt-get install xournal"

Home accounting: "sudo apt-get install gnucash"

Recipes database: "sudo apt-get install gourmet"

Personal Wiki(Notes, documents...): "sudo apt-get install zim"

Network drives explorer: "sudo apt-get install gigolo"

CD/DVD burner: "sudo apt-get install xfburn"

QuarkXpress-like design: "sudo apt-get install inkscape"

E-Book reader: "sudo apt-get install calibre fbreader"

Audio Editor: "sudo apt-get install audacity"

Video Editor: "sudo apt-get install cinelerra-cv lives openshot"

Minimal Web Browser: "sudo apt-get install luakit"

Google Maps without Adoble Flash (install luakit from above 1st: "luakit qsview.corg"
 or just open Luakit, press [o], type "qsview.com" and you are done.

Java: "sudo apt-get install openjdk icedtea-web"

Minecraft (G4 w/ 1GB of RAM at least): 1st follow the above step in order to install java"

Then download OptiFine, https://optifine.net/downloads

click on the downloaded Optifine.jar file w/ the right mouse button (or Ctrl+Click" and choose "Open with: OpenJDK").

Run it and then, download and run Minecraft as usual.

Choose the "Optifine" profile from MineCraft, and go to video settings and disable all efects until it runs smoothly.

As MineCraft runs in Java, the video tweaks from the PC version works with Linux PPC's OpenJDK too.
