Berkeley Memorial The Berkeley Memorial is actually a monument which is situated in the city centre of Basseterre in Saint Kitts and Nevis. This memorial was erected in honor of Thomas B.H. Berkeley. He was once the President of the General Legislative Council back in the late 19th century. The memorial contains a fountain and four clocks. These clocks are facing four different streets which are all leading to the memorial. Locals even call it the “Big Ben” of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
