If you love working on this niche then go fo it, and go for KGR keywords ONLY, don't go for bigger KWs those autorithy are going for, as they will have deep pocket than you do, after long time you get some authority then gor for big KWs Competition is not always bad, it means there is high demand. I would personally go for it. If you like writing about it and have a decent budget you can make it. Probably not on the first page of google, but doesn't mean you won't get decent traffic. Use social media, forums, other platforms. And find Keywords you can actually rank for! What is your niche? If your competition is multi million companies don't even bother.
