Margacinta village located in the north has a history of fairly close proximity to village Margahayuland. Before 1980, the village was part of the village Margahayu Margacinta. The name 'Margahayu' itself deliberately chosen based on the ideals and expectations of people who inhabit it. 'Margahayu' comes from Sundanese language, namely 'Marga' which means 'grove', and 'Hayu' (Rahayu) which means 'good'.
