When I first dated my girlfriend, we went on six dates where she didn’t offer to pay. At the end of the sixth, she mentioned that she imagined these things were getting expensive and how about I come to her place for dinner next time? Since then she’s a total peach about being equitable about things…and also about finding inexpensive ways to spend time together. btw, the reason she gave for not offering to pay earlier? She had read that guys were sensitive about money and she didn’t want offend me. Give the girl a chance - you never know what her reasoning might be… Singularity's avatar Singularity wrote on February 26 2010 @ 12:30 pm: [report] Obviously everyone has a different tak on situaiton #1, but for me I don’t see any problem. I would be fine with a woman paying (or offering) for whatever she likes. But at the same time, I wouldn’t expect it of her. I would always be prepared and happy to be the one paying. Maybe she has that same attitude (the other way around of course from her point of view), and if so, is it really a problem? I would somehow try to ask her about that. I have no clue how, but ask her. Second letter: I have no idea. But I do know one thing. Text once, that’s ok. text twice, that’s alright if yo know them. Text them more than that and obviously they’re avoiding you. :( Don’t beg for his attention. it’s not even worth it girl AncientMariner's avatar AncientMariner wrote on February 26 2010 @ 12:38 pm: [report]
