Currently with hostdime on a grandfathered resellers plan. We don't use much for webspace. Mostly just for email, and a few parked pages. 
I'm looking to move away from hostdime as I need something with better email spam protection.

What are some good hosts that have very good spam protection? It also needs to support larger mailboxes. 1 email account has 20gb. A total of 50gb storage should be plenty. My renewal is in Feb, so I'm looking for something soon.
Are you looking for another reseller plan or just a single hosting account? For Spam protection, I'd say look for SpamExperts, many hosts use it.

nope, I only got the resellers plan since I was thinking about using it for reselling, but never got around to it. I've had it now for 3-4 years and so I figure I can easily downgrade to something else.

is Spamexpert and mailchannels a program on the server?
It's not a program it's a party Cloud Filtering system that is connected to the server so any incoming or outgoing /both are filtered for spam.
We have reseller hostings on Hostdime, too and we glad from their services. Their servers are fully managed, DDoS and Spam protected. If you contact Hostdime support, then they can enable anti-spam tools for your account and can add some filters to prevent spam(normally these come disable).
