Lake Volta
Lake Volta is among of the places to visit in Ghana. This lake is 6 degrees horizontally aligned with the Equator and a dam called the Akosombo dam forms this lake. Lake Volta is where all the water from the White, Red, and Black Volta Rivers converge. Speaking of the dam, it provides the electrical power to all of Ghana. Aside from that, people go near the lake to fetch hardwood and catch some fish. The astonishing sights from atop the dam are also breathtaking. Lush green color of the trees and the crisp blue hue of the lake cannot be equaled by any other lake in Ghana.
