Hide the Drive

- Go to start and type “cmd” and press ‘enter’
- type “cd\” and press ‘enter’
- type “diskpart” press ‘enter’
- type “list volume” and press ‘enter’
(your all drives are display in your dos screen with volume no.)
- now suppose you want to hide “E:” drive, type “select volume 3″ and press ‘enter’.
(A message will now appear in the Dos screen “volume 3 is selected volume”
- now type “remove letter E” and press ‘enter’ (For hide the E drive)
- now you have to restart the computer (diskpart will remove the letter)
- e.g.
- c:/>diskpart
diskpart>list volume
diskpart>select volume 3
diskpart>remove letter e
