Grand Mosque of Dakar
As the name suggests it, the Grand Mosque of Dakar is located in Dakar. It remains as one of the most important symbols of the Islamic religion in all of Senegal. The mosque was designed by both French and Morrocan artisans. Many people say that is very similar to Casablanca’s Mausoleum of Mohammed V. The minaret of the place reaches up to 67 meters in height. When you reach Allée Pape Gueye Fall, you can easily spot this grand mosque.
