301 not working from non-www to www
actually it works when i copy-paste non-www link in browser
but when i click on it directly in google or on some backlink - i have bad connection, "can't find this site" - i don't have proper 301 to www version
WTF?

i use: 
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^site.com[NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.site.com$1 [L,R=301]
RewriteBase /

can anyone explain me?

Firstly, try it in a different browser, I've had browsers do weird cachy things with htaccess 301s
i tried in 3 browsers
when i paste it - it works
direct click - no

Test with an external site Soa.

It shows, that domain does not exist, but heck, when i paste the link in browser - it is redirecting!
 
I always check externally, that's why I said you so.

By any chance have you forgot to set you DNS?

Maybe you set just your windows hosts for development.
 
Probably a problem with your apache config.
