Peter Island
Another private isle located in the British Virgin Islands is the Peter Island. The island is about 5 miles away from Tortola and can be reached by boat or by helicopter. It is owned by the Van Andel Family who also happens to co-own the famous brand, Amway. There is a resort on the island called the Peter Island Resort and Spa. They call it the “Paradise in Paradise”. The whole island is 1,779 acres or 720 hectares all in all.
