##  Climate Voucher: Save Money, Save the Planet!

**What are Climate Vouchers?**

The Climate Voucher program is a Singaporean government initiative aimed at encouraging residents to switch to energy-efficient and water-saving household appliances.  It's part of the broader Climate Friendly Households Programme (CFHP) [Climate Friendly Households Programme].

**How do they work?**

All HDB households (flats with 3 rooms or less) are eligible to receive S$300 worth of Climate Vouchers. These vouchers come in denominations of S$2, S$5, S$10, and S$50 for more flexibility when making purchases. 

**What can you buy with them?**

The vouchers can be used to offset the cost of various energy-efficient and water-saving appliances and products. This includes:

* Refrigerators
* LED lights (with a minimum of 2 ticks)
* Shower fittings (with a minimum of 3 ticks)
* Basin taps and mixers (with a minimum of 3 ticks)
* Sink/bib taps and mixers (with a minimum of 3 ticks)
* Direct current fans
* Washing machines
* Water closets

**Where to use them:**

Climate Vouchers are redeemable at participating retailers across Singapore, including major electronics stores and home improvement outlets. 

**Important Dates:**

* The current round of vouchers was issued on April 15, 2024.
* Vouchers are valid until December 31, 2027, so you have ample time to plan your purchases.
