"Find Local Duck Eggs from Fort Worth, TX Farms and More ..." www.agrilicious.com - if you go there we're listed. I'm not there, I'm not there, I'm not there, I am present in 9 out of the top ten listing on Google! From a basic, BASIC, BASIC technique! 60 characters, 160 characters, write it like copy, include the geographic locations - and you're there! I haven't put the effort into making a page dedicated to Dallas, it's maybe a little more competitive, little bigger market, but if I do "Dallas duck eggs" I find "Find Local Duck Eggs from Dallas, TX Farms and More ..." - agrilicious! And I'm there! Another agrilicious page at number two - and I'm there... Third - "Nine Mile Farm, Fresh Duck Eggs in Dallas - Fort Worth" Next is a, ah um, a Dallas news article, that has nothing to do with me, and then a meetup group that has nothing to do with me - but even on the Dallas side - I am there! Image search - my logo shows up in the image search - and a beautful egg sitting on a beautiful piece of food at a restaurant called "Ideeclaire" (sp?) Boulevardier shows up... that's my egg!!! Understanding basic SEO is the way to go, man! Very basic, and I KNOW advanced SEO techniques, and I can sit there and dedicate my life to owning Google for duck eggs searches - whatever... this has already got us more business than we can handle... It's that simple, you can do it too... and in most instances, going for the local term in a niche you can own it in a week or two... cause no one else is doing it - assuming you learn the basic rules - you don't have to spend lots of money, but get online and learn how to write a proper description tag and a proper title tag, and, if you are using WordPress, and you should be for managing your site, get the All-In-One-SEO-Pack, and there is... you don't have to do shit, title, description, boom, done, and over!
