Today I want to speak about giving, that is one aspect the Bible talks about that most of us often neglect. I grew up a last child always getting and never having to give until I grew older and realized I had so many things I had no need for. My older sister is such a giver that you can count the number of items that she is and she'd tell me baby girl the way God shows up for me whenever I give, I can't explain it. On Friday or so I mentioned I already know what gift I'd be getting on my birthday from my friend. On Saturday I went jewellery shopping and saw a earring I knew my friend would like, so I got it to surprise her with it on Monday. I'm at work now and guess what? She had a bag with tops for me, we chatted during the weekend and we both had no clue the plans we had for each other. Then it clicked, that a few weeks back I gave out two of my best tops, this must be God showing up like he always does when you cultivate the habit of giving. Also, I don't know who I lent money to but on Friday I received a 15k credit alert with no name and I'm hoping some kind of reversal happens this week. Anyway, if Jesus can give himself for our sins it takes nothing to bless people around you and the helpless. Luke 6:38, give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. Have a lovely week all.
