Games that are repeatedly delayed don't always wind up being great. Case in point (and infamy): Duke Nukem Forever. So when BioShock Infinite, which was first slated for release in 2012, got pushed back again and again (and again), we were a bit worried. We tried to give the developers the benefit of the doubt that they were just taking the time necessary to get the title right. And we did have some faith, given how great the original BioShock was, even if the sequel wasn't as stellar. But it turns out we didn't have to worry. When it finally landed in March of 2013, Irrational Games' release blew the doors off our expectations, and we were glued to our custom-built gaming rig and lost in the clouds of the floating city of Columbia to the very end.
