  1. God's favor requires more commitment; He demands more from you as He gives you unmerited favor. David was favored because he loved God with his continual life of praise, but when he made the mistake of numbering the children of Israel from Beer-sheba to Dan, he displeased God to the extent of having a great number of the Israelites destroyed (1 Chronicles 21:1-15). God expected more from David; He expected David to know what pleases Him and what makes His fierce anger to be unleashed.
  2. Provoke God's favor, because favor is better than labor; but, have it at the back of your mind that favor requires more diligence from you to God.
  3. Prayer Point:
  4. Lord, since you are Sovereign in all your ways, and you know the end from the beginning, please address my life with your favor. Whatever I have done in the past, what I'm doing presently or what I'll do in the future that will rid me of your favor, Lord please have mercy on me and address it today.
