It seems a new method has been discovered that allows you to temporarily use a different skin that you don't own in champion select.
Riot won't ban you for something like this. They didn't ban you in the past either when there was a different skin bug that allowed you to use a skin for a game. This is the kind of thing that can easily be triggered by accident.
