Film Star Wars: Episode VII is able to shift the Avatar as the biggest-selling movie of all time in North America that includes the United States and Canada, according to Disney.
The studio claimed that the film by JJ Abrams was large enough to generate revenue that could surpass US $ 760.5 million, or Rp10.5 trillion earned Avatar.
However, as reported by the Associated Pres s, Avatar still holds the record for the largest revenue globally.
Star Wars: Episode VII break the record number since mid-December 2015 was launched at last.
Last month, the film set a new record as the fastest film which achieved sales of US $ 1 billion, or about Rp13,6 trillion worldwide.
