A recent study revealed that a significant number of people do not know what is in tobacco products or cigarettes smoked and familiarity only substance nicotine existing chemicals.
The study, according to the doctor Kurt Ribisi, from Weinberger Comerihnsev Cancer Center at the University of North Carolina, that cigarette smoke contains "arsenic", which causes damage to the heart and "formaldehyde", which causes cancer of the larynx.
Ribisi and added that "among the 7000 component of the cigarette smoke there are 93, in particular, are very toxic."
The study was based on the views of about five thousand adults in the United States in areas where there are high rates in the number of smokers and low entry, the study also pointed out that the participants would prefer to see this information on cigarette packs.
For its part, the doctor Irinskah Talhout from the National Institute of Public Health and the Environment explained that knowing this information may help smokers to deciding whether or not to quit.
