  1. NASA is searching for somebody to be Earth's "planetary insurance officer."
  2. The occupation title, with the exceptional status of "mystery," is something straight out of 1997 science fiction parody exemplary "Men in Black." truth be told, the current planetary security officer, Catharine Conley, says that on her first day, she was issued a couple of "dull Ray-Ban shades."
  3. While it's indistinct whether the new officer will be supplanting Conley or joining her group, the expected set of responsibilities is awesome.
  4. The officer's principle duty is to guarantee people don't debase space, and thusly, that extraterrestrial contaminant and life forms, on the off chance that they exist, don't sully Earth.
