  1. Name your SSD OS.
  7. Partition your HDD: Look up a thread on how to do it.
  13. Step 1: Install Windows 10
  19. Step 2: Setup your HDD to store all of your internet downloads, and everything you choose to be sent to your storage drive BEFORE downloading anything:
  25. Go to "C:\Users\Kyan" > Right click
  28. on a folder (i.e Downloads) Click
  31. "Properties" Click "Location" Tab > Click
  34. "Move" > Select your secondary hard-
  37. drive. Congratulations, now all of your
  40. downloads will be saved your
  43. secondary hard-drive and not your boot
  46. drive. Do this with other folders like
  49. "Documents", "My Pictures" etc and your
  52. all good in terms of files.
  58. Step 3: After you have completed the install of Windows 10: Download the latest bios for your Mother Board - See link #4 below
  61. After installation, Unzip the latest bios version and place it into USB drive - FAT32
  64. Boot into the BIOS, select "Advanced Mode", click "Tools" and go to "ASUS EZ Flash 2 Utility" Locate your USB drive - (Note: 15360MB)
  70. Step 4: Install all the latest:
  73. Intel drivers: (https://downloadcenter.intel.com)
  76. Motherboard drivers: (https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_VII_RANGER/HelpDesk_Download/)
  79. Graphics Card drivers: (http://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers), no specific order.
  82. And keyboard drivers if prompted, update after major drivers.
  88. Step 5: Stress test your CPU - http://www.mersenne.org/download
  91. Run program for 3-4 hours.

  103. 2: Select the following options:
  109. Burn-in
  112. Streams burn-in
  115. Post-FX
  118. GPU temperature alarm
  121. Log GPU data
  127. Benchmark duration (ms) 600,000
  133. Keep the Application running for 5-20 minutes.
  139. YOU ARE PRETTY MUCH DONE
  142. You have successfully updated and tested all of your Computer components.
