  1. A lady says she had a sexual association with baseball legend Pete Rose that started in 1973 when she was 14 or 15 years of age and proceeded for quite a long while, as indicated by government court archives documented Monday.
  2. Accordingly, Rose recognized that he had intercourse with the lady, who was not distinguished, but rather said he trusted she was 16 at the time, mature enough to legitimately assent in Ohio.
  3. The lady's record was put together by protection lawyers in a maligning claim Rose documented a year ago against John Dowd, a notable Washington legal advisor who said in a 2015 radio meeting that Rose had submitted statutory assault by routinely having intercourse with underage young ladies amid his baseball profession. The claim is in progress in the U.S. Locale Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
  4. Dowd drove a 1989 examination for Major League Baseball that discovered Rose had bet on diversions as a player and chief for the Cincinnati Reds. Because of the examination, Rose was prohibited from the MLB forever.
  5. Lawyers for Dowd, endeavoring to demonstrate his on-air comments about Rose were basically valid, presented a sworn explanation from a lady alluded to in court filings as Jane Doe.
