Lake Malawi is also called Lago Niassa or Lake Nyasa. It is a rift lake that touches Mozambique, Tanzania and the land-locked country of Malawi. Actually, it is one of the most famous places or tourist attractions in Malawi and thus, the name – Lake Malawi. It is the ninth biggest lake in the whole world. Lake Malawi is also the second deepest lake in all of Africa and the third biggest lake in the continent, as well.
