  1. Studying geological structures
  2. The study of geologic structures was carried out by firstly examining their nature (e.g. primary and/or secondary), based on the rock unit in which they are observed. Secondly, their orientation was determined and finally interpretation of their formation (i.e. whether they resulted from compressional or tensional stress) was the last thing to be discussed.
  3. Equipments or tools used
  4. Usage Tool
  5. To locate the site aimed for study before paying a visit. Aerial photos
  6. To collect and freshen rock and/or mineral sample surfaces for a better study. Hammers
  7. To examine the basic constituents of rock samples under study. This tool was best coarse-grained rocks in which individual mineral grains could be identified easily. Hand-held lenses
  8. To determine the orientation of geological structures Compass clinometer
  9. To determine the geographic coordinates and elevation of the specified site under investigation. Mobile-based GPS
  10. These included marker pens, pens, pencils, rulers and field notebook all used to precisely record field observations. Writing tools
