I was wondering whether bitcoin is the tonic that Africa requires. The majority of people in Africa do not have access to bank accounts and bitcoin looks the ideal candidate to fill that gap. But then again, trading in bitcoin requires knowledge and access to a technological gadget of some sort. While the knowledge gap can be bridged relatively easily, the technology gap is really a mountain to climb.
