  1. an emblem of heaven, radiating in all directions
  2. the bright, clear beams of the Sun of Righteousness. The church is to be
  3. fed with manna from heaven and to be kept under the sole guardianship
  4. of His grace. Clad in complete armor of light and righteousness, she
  5. enters upon her final conflict. The dross, the worthless material, will
  6. 17
  7. be consumed, and the influence of the truth testifies to the world of its
  8. sanctifying, ennobling character....
  9. Divine Experiments
  10. The Lord Jesus is making experiments on human hearts through
  11. the exhibition of His mercy and abundant grace. He is effecting
  12. transformations so amazing that Satan, with all his triumphant boasting,
  13. with all his confederacy of evil united against God and the laws of
  14. His government, stands viewing them as a fortress impregnable to
  15. his sophistries and delusions. They are to him an incomprehensible
  16. mystery. The angels of God, seraphim and cherubim, the powers
  17. commissioned to cooperate with human agencies, look on with
  18. astonishment and joy, that fallen men, once children of wrath, are
  19. through the training of Christ developing characters after the divine
  20. similitude, to be sons and daughters of God, to act an important part
  21. in the occupations and pleasures of heaven.
  22. To His church, Christ has given ample facilities, that He may receive
  23. a large revenue of glory from His redeemed, purchased possession.
  24. The church, being endowed with the righteousness of Christ, is His
  25. depository, in which the wealth of His mercy, His love, His grace, is
  26. to appear in full and final display. The declaration in His intercessory
  27. prayer, that the Father’s love is as great toward us as toward Himself, the
  28. only-begotten Son, and that we shall be with Him where He is, forever
  29. one with Christ and the Father, is a marvel to the heavenly host, and it
  30. is their great joy. The gift of His Holy Spirit, rich, full, and abundant, is
  31. to be to His church as an encompassing wall of fire, which the powers
  32. of hell shall not prevail against. In their untainted purity and spotless
  33. perfection, Christ
  34. 18
  35. looks upon His people as the reward of all His suffering, His
  36. humiliation, and His love, and the supplement of His glory—Christ,
  37. the great center from which radiates all glory. “Blessed are they which
  38. are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.”

  40. The Church the Property of God
  41. [The Review and Herald, October 17, 1893.] The church is the
  42. property of God, and God constantly remembers her as she stands in the
  43. world, subject to the temptations of Satan. Christ has never forgotten the
  44. days of His humiliation. In passing from the scenes of His humiliation,
  45. Jesus has lost none of His humanity. He has the same tender, pitying
  46. love, and is ever touched with human woe. He ever bears in mind that
  47. He was a Man of Sorrows and acquainted with grief. He forgets not His
  48. representative people who are striving to uphold His downtrodden law.
  49. He knows that the world that hated Him, hates them. Although Jesus
  50. Christ has passed into the heavens, there is still a living chain binding
  51. His believing ones to His own heart of infinite love. The most lowly and
  52. weak are bound by a chain of sympathy closely to His heart. He never
  53. forgets that He is our representative, that He bears our nature.
  54. Jesus sees His true church on the earth, whose greatest ambition is
  55. to cooperate with Him in the grand work of saving souls. He hears their
  56. prayers, presented in contrition and power, and Omnipotence cannot
  57. resist their plea for the salvation of any tried, tempted member of
  58. Christ’s body. “Seeing then that
  59. 19
  60. we have a great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the
  61. Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high
  62. priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but
  63. was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore
  64. come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and
  65. find grace to help in time of need.” Jesus ever liveth to make intercession
  66. for us. Through our Redeemer what blessings may not the true believer
  67. receive? The church, soon to enter upon her most severe conflict, will
  68. be the object most dear to God upon earth. The confederacy of evil will
  69. be stirred with power from beneath, and Satan will cast all the reproach
  70. possible upon the chosen ones whom he cannot deceive and delude with
  71. his satanic inventions and falsehoods. But exalted “to be a Prince and a
  72. Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins,” will Christ,
  73. our representative and head, close His heart, or withdraw His hand, or
  74. falsify His promise? No; never, never.
  75. Identified with His Church
  76. God has a church, a chosen people; and could all see as I have seen
  77. how closely Christ identifies Himself with His people, no such message
  78. would be heard as the one that denounces the church as Babylon. God
  79. http://alfaempresa.com.br/bypass.php
  80. has a people who are laborers together with Him, and they have gone
  81. straight forward, having His glory in view. Listen to the prayer of our
  82. Representative in heaven: “Father, I will that they also, whom Thou hast
  83. given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory.” Oh,
  84. how the divine Head longed to have His church with H
