Vision is great, but vision alone is not sufficient to fulfill our purpose in life. There are many who have had great and brilliant visions but no fulfillment. Many have died frustrated and bitter with life and perhaps God.
What they did not understand was that vision was just one piece of the puzzle. We must also and compulsorily acquire the strength and capacity to execute the vision. This is were many have failed - lack of strength.
In frustration, Paul asserted that ' to will was present with him, but the strength to do he found not'. Many will fail in life not because they do not have vision but rather because they have no capacity to see through their dreams to the end.
Three times God told Joshua to "Be STRONG and Courageous" as if to emphasize to him that no matter what plans God has for your life, if you have no strength, you will abort it.
The Children of Ephraim turned back in the day of battle despite their weapons and armoury, why? They had no strength, no inner resolve, no fortitude, no capacity, no spiritual and mental toughness.
If we turn back in the day of adversity, our strength is minimal. Adversity will come, every vision will be opposed and resisted. But we are not of the company that turn back to perdition and destruction. We belong to the company that presses on to the very end.
God's instruction in this season is BE STRONG, BE STRONG, BE STRONG. Strength is a decision you must make. When you do, God will supply grace to you.
Do not give up, do not give in, hold on....wait on him and renew your strength. Receive new capacity in Jesus name. Amen.
