Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is composed of 32 islands and smallest island therein is called the Mayreau. This island is being inhabited – the population as of the last survey was recorded at 271. You can literally walk through the whole island in fifteen minutes. The area is just 1.5 miles or 2.4 kilometers. On Station Hill, there is a no-name village where the residents live. Even with its small area, the island has a school, a church, a telecommunications center, and a wharf. Tourists with yachts dock on Mayreau and spend a few hours here.
