  2. The Saloum Delta National Park sports 76,000 hectares of land and it is a national park of Senegal. Being a UNESCO World Heritage Site makes this national park very famous as well as being a Ramsar Convention Site too. It is also 180,000 hectares of biosphere reserve. You can see and encounter different species of birds like the royal tern, greater flamingoes, little stints, and curlew sandpiper. If you look further, you can also experience the interlocking mangroves in saltwater vegetation.
