  1. What is BitBin?
  2. BitBin is a site that allows you to store 'pastes', short text snippets.
  3. What am I not allowed to post?
  4. You are not allowed to submit pastes that contain
  5. Copyrighted content that you don't own
  6. Personal information such as password lists
  7. Spam
  8. Pastes consisting solely of referral links and/or monetized links (eg. CoinURL) are not allowed
  9. Uninformative titles like "EARN A LOT OF BITCOINS!!" are not allowed
  10. Adult content
  11. In addition, the following is not allowed
  12. Using traffic exchanges, autosurf sites or similar services to artificially inflate the number of hits.
  13. Failure to follow these rules may result in your account getting banned from uploading monetized pastes or pastes entirely.
  14. What is the syntax highlighting feature?
  15. If your paste contains code or markup, you can use the syntax highlighting to highlight the text. Note that encrypted pastes don't support all of the syntax highlighting formats that are available with unencrypted pastes.
  16. How does the encryption feature work?
  17. Your pastes can be encrypted to ensure only people you trust will be able to read them. Encrypting your paste means you need to provide the same password you used to encrypt paste to decrypt and thus read it. Since the encryption and decryption are done locally on your computer, the administrators of this site won't be able to recover the content of your encrypted paste if you lose your password.
