  1. How to Watch IPTV in VLC
  2. Use VideoLan’s VLC media player to stream and run IPTV, the
  3. IP-based television service, to view TV programs from
  4. around the world. Normally, IPTV is viewed with the media
  5. player on the IPTV website. However, using the newer
  6. versions of VLC, you can stream TV from IPTV through the
  7. VLC player if you properly configure the player. Download
  8. the free VLC player for any operating system from
  9. Videolan.org.
  10. Step 1
  11. Open the VLC media player.
  12. Step 2
  13. Click the “Media” button on the top navigation bar to show
  14. the File menu.
  15. Step 3
  16. Click the “Open Network Stream” option.
  17. Step 4
  18. Click the radio button next to the “HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS”
  19. option and then type the following URL into the “URL” input
  20. box. http://avenard.org/iptv/playlist-tpg-vlc.m3u
  21. Step 5
  22. Click “OK.” The Avenard playlist opens in VLC and the
  23. channels list down the left panel.

  25. Click a channel in the left panel and then click the
  26. “Right” pointing arrow at the bottom of the viewing screen
  27. to play the channel.

  29. If VLC stream stops every 20-30 seconds, doule click on
  30. "loop play" button
