I encountered this game quite a while ago when I was bored and searching for free online games that wouldn't take up too much space or give me a virus. This game was a pleasant surprise for me.
Although I have never played Team Fortress 2, I had heard quite a lot about it and when I found this gem of a game I got it almost instantly.
The game is made by "Faucet Software" and in the loading screen when opening the game, you can see that the game doesn't run on Steam, but it runs on "Smoke" instead.
It even has the nine classes that the classic 3d version has. Although they have slightly but hilariously altered names. They all play similar roles and allow for quite a varied gameplay experience.
The only thing I would say isn't the best about this game is that there are only the stock weapons. That doesn't limit the gameplay in the slightest, so don't get too worried about that.
