  1. Totality has finished.
  2. The primary looks of the principal add up to sun based obscuration to cross the United States across the nation in 99 years started in Oregon, with totality soon after 1 p.m. ET. What began as a modest sickle of the moon's shadow transformed into a splendidly excellent overshadowing in city after city. It finished in South Carolina around 3 p.m. ET.
  3. An incomplete sunlight based shroud was noticeable until soon after 4 p.m. in the Southeast. The following sunlight based obscuration over the United States will happen in April 2024.
  4. Amid totality in numerous urban areas, it looked like evening time, with stars showing up in the sky and the temperature dropping. Crickets could be heard tweeting in Jefferson City, Missouri.Unfortunately for those in Beatrice, Nebraska, there was somewhat of a foggy view because of haze, yet it was still hauntingly beautiful. For those encountering a halfway obscuration, streetlights went ahead, and the sky obscured to changing degrees, with the light showing up practically unnatural.
