The island is the northern most island of the country and it is a nature reserve. This place is inhabited by 1.25 million seabirds that naturally breed here. The Aride Island is also home to the largest colony of Lesser Noddy as well as the largest colony of Tropical Shearwater. Several species of skink also roam the island. You can try looking for the three different species of geckos wandering around too. It is also allowed for tourists to explore the whole island on a bike, too!
