How to KEEP ALL your files and upgrade to Windows 8.1 Preview from Windows 8 or 7.
Download the Windows 8.1 Preview ISO file from http://j.gs/2007222/win8preview, read important information below and start following the video. You will be up and running in no time!
*Apparently many Windows 8 users had problems with their update attempts via Windows Update Standalone Package and Windows Store - I strongly recommend using the old-fashioned way, i.e. to download the ISO image directly and upgrade from there.*
NOTE:
-Windows 7 users will be able to keep their personal files only, while Windows 8 users will be able to keep their personal files, most of the apps and PC settings.
-You should not install any prerelease software on your main production machine.
-You should backup everything on your machine before following this video(in case the Windows 8.1 Preview installation gone wrong)
