During today's #G20 Leaders' Summit, I highlighted The World Bank Group's work on vaccines and a greener, more sustainable recovery.
We are meeting ambitious climate finance targets, and working to help countries achieve their NDCs and improve outcomes on greenhouse gas emissions.
We are fully on track to deliver a record surge to meet our $160 billion commitment and maximize the grant element.
I joined others at the summit in welcoming major creditors' progress toward debt transparency and reduction, and in urging action for several fragile economies.
Despite the challenges, there is cause for optimism -- we can shorten the downturn and build a strong foundation that can lift all countries and all people.
