The Magic Check Really Works.
Back in 2013 I was feeling rather miserable in my job and I wanted to get my driver’s licence so badly. But with all the bills I had to pay at the time, my budget didn’t allow for that type of expense.
I had started to read The Magic and was so impressed by The Magic Check chapter that I even decided to write a check to myself for R4000. This R4000 would cover the driver’s test, car hire and driver’s licence issue. I looked at the check often and put it in my purse.
At work there was going to be a year end function and award ceremony for top performers. I knew I wasn’t a top performer and I just figured that this other girl in my department was going to get it, so I elected not to go to the function despite my manager urging me to go.
The Monday following the function, I came to work to see a certificate, trophy and I letter on my desk. I was rather surprised by this. And to my amazement, when I opened the letter it came from the CEO of the company thanking me for my hard work and positive contribution. And, with this letter came a check of R5000!!!! R1000 more than what I asked for!!!
It turns out I was the 1st runner up in my department and I didn’t know it or that they had that. Even though the other girl won the 1st prize of R10000, I was truly grateful for my R5000 cause I knew with utter faith and surety that the Universe had provided it.
You never know how or when the money is going to come but it will come and when it does you’ll be blown away!
