World Bank Supports First COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout in Lebanon

The World Bank Group Board has approved the first WBG-financed operation for #COVID19 vaccines.

This financing for Lebanon will enable vaccine access for over 2 million people, with distribution expected to begin in early February 2021.

Fair, broad, and fast vaccine access and distribution are critical to protecting lives and supporting economic recovery.
