  1. Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane insists he is not worried after watching his side go down 3-1 at Wembley to Tottenham Hotspur but accepts “we lost to the better team.”
  2. Tottenham secured qualification for the Champions League knockout phase with an outstanding display to beat holders Real Madrid on a memorable night at Wembley. The result saw slumped to their second defeat in succession.
  3. Zinedine Zidane in an interview after the game said: “I’m not worried, whatever happens. We played against a team who were better than us tonight and we have to accept it. We didn’t play too bad a game. We had chances to level it up but, as seems to be the case for us lately, we couldn't find the back of the net.
  4. “We can't say we're struggling physically. We're at the level we're at, perhaps it's not
  5. perfect, because that's two defeats in a row. After the loss in LaLiga it's always tough to recover from a morale point of view. Now it's going to be even more difficult, because that's two losses in a row. But we're fine physically, you could analyse
  6. it individually and think that perhaps someone isn't as fit as someone else, but we're alright. We need to find a way to put the ball in the net, which we've struggled with recently.
  7. Scoring
  8. drought
  9. “I wouldn't say it's a drought. There are times in the season when you score goals from very few chances, and others when you struggle to do that. We're creating chances but they're just not going in. We had chances to level today but they scored three goals. We were up against a team who played better in every area of the pitch. But we're an experienced team full of champions, and we're going to turn this around."
  10. Two goals from Dele Alli and a Christian Eriksen strike leave Los Blancos in second place of their Champions League group despite a late Cristiano Ronaldo reply.
  11. Up next for Zidane and his boys is a La Liga home game against Las Palmas on Sunday while Spurs are at home to Crystal Palace on the same day.
