email stopped after migration
My 2 websites emails have stopped working after a migration....both IMAPS. The cPanel says to use mail.website.com port 993 for incoming and mail.website.com port 465 for outgoing smtp. However, I've tried several clients with these settings and none work. I've set the SSL/TLS in the clients, too. They just freeze. My bulletin board has also stopped sending confirmation emails even though I set the smtp to 465.

Is the server misconfigured?

Your ISP could be blocking port 465 try 587 instead.
I disconnected the bulletin board's smtp and it's now using the php mail() function OK.
But the email clients on my phone won't let me get past the incoming setting before checking then freezing.
I think something is funky with the server.

if port blocking then contact provider to unblock port.
Is any error generating?
check spam folder if email not delivering to an inbox. or use third-party SMTP like MailChimp.

You will be being blocked by the firewall you will need to either login to the hosts control panel and unblock yourself or contact them to unblock you and try again.

If his home ISP is blocking port 465 they won't unblock it as it is done to prevent spam.
The other option is to dump the hosts provided email and use dedicated email hosting such as Office365 this will automatically configure itself in outlook and saves a lot of messing around.
I have 2 ISPs...Both are fine.
Right after adding my incoming settings in several clients (including SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)), the client checks it automatically before going further. This is where it freezes.

Does the issue resolved?

What did your web hosting company support say?
Also what is the specific error message you are getting?
Also does your website load? if your website and the Cpanel interface don't load then you have been blocked at the firewall.

Is it just your phone that is having the issue? OS? Are you using Wifi or data? Webmail is ok, desktop with Outlook (or other client) ok?
Post error messages
Ask your hosting company for the server hostname and try connecting both incoming and outgoing servers directly to the hostname within your mail clients.
