It's not confirmed yet, but if we are to believe lawmaker Carlos Rejala, the bill he's writing, though he doesn't have a majority in congress, still has strong support and is set to legislate Bitcoin and other Crypto. Now, this doesn't mean that if passed it will be similar to El Salvador since "It is a bill of digital assets and it differs from that of El Salvador because they are taking it as legal currency and in Paraguay it will be impossible to do something like that" according to Rejala, but at this point I'll be happy anything. Especially considering how suspiciously upbeat certain mainstream media sounded that Paraguay isn't going as far as El Salvador.
