SMMA - Where to start?
I am new to the BHW community, so please take it easy on me.

but where is the best place to get started in learning how to start a SMMA?
Are there any courses/infuencers/bloggers that you recommend that I should follow/download?
Yes I am aware of the FB blueprint, and the variety of free courses available online, but aside from the theoretical aspect of all this. I want to learn about the business side as well such as knowing where to find clients, what my real expectations should be, closing deals, etc.
I do have experience with FB ads and WordPress development. Thank you!
I m also in this SMMA but my niche is google ads. And I watched so many courses abut SMMA and how to get clients. But most courses are the same and useless.
First, Don't follow all the guru on the internet to learn about SMMA. As you are already saying you know about all the theoretical things, then why you are looking for more courses? There are no courses who is gonna teach you everything about practical things. And if you are lucky to get a course who will teach you about FB ads or any ads then there is no guarantee that it will also work for you. So Better do some internship so that you will gain some experience and you will get better knowledge about practical things. (I mean there are still so much business owners those are doing Facebook ads in the very wrong way like boosting their posts) So try to do some free trial because it is better than wasting your time watching another course.
If you still want to watch course then I would suggest "Dan Henry 30-day SMMA course" to know about SMMA and "Kevin David FB ads course" to know more about Facebook ads. I personally think these two courses has some good knowledge. Again don't go for more courses these two are enough to go forward.
The only way to get clients is to start with internship and make your portfolio good, have some result and confidence in yourself and give upfront value. I m pretty much sure that you will get some good clients.

Some of keving davids videos are good. But the fking spamming hes doing and lying REALLY bad in hes mails are sick!
hes ofc offering free stuff, which is like a ebook with 3 lines and rest is " BUY FULL COURSE FOR JUsT $899!!" and just so u know...david is not doing that jobs with support, talking in groups etc he fking hired cheap thai people to do the " dirty " work.
also hes flooding my emails with his clickbaiting BS emails daily.....dont fall for that guy whatsoever....watch his courses on youtube and thats it!

I started building up cases before i reached out to potential customers. If you have some results to show they are much more likely to engage with you in the first place. But also much more likely to purchase your services :)

yes totally agree. its leaked somewhere..just warning others to not fall for kevin david. hes straight up B.S with his stuff. I thought he doing all work...I even remember when i Had facebook. he spammed my Messages daily with his B.S too ((bots))

How do you suggest one should start if they are interested in a career in SMMA? Learn FB ads first and/or Google ads from an official source? or learn from a SMMA course?
I would stay away from Lambo Filled, Youtuber , Guru course creators, if you want to to learn how to run a social media agency, unless you want to learn how to sell info products, in that case you can study them, and mimic what works, but to start an agency, you could start as a freelancer, and offer free trials to get reviews, and to get more clients on the freelancer sites. You can aproach bigger companies, and offer social media management for a decent price, and deliver solid social media management work ( which you can all automate ) .when the time is right, offer them ideas to generate more income, more clients, and if you were able to close any of them, make case studies from the results, and even better get testimonials from them. Once you have 4 case studies , you can aproach companies by running ads, on linkedin, google, fb, ig., or hire a team of sales people/ closers. Offer companies a free business plan, how they can improve their income, and let them know how much time and money they would spend by figuring it out themselves, or hiring a freelancer for every single task, and that you can handle every task with your agency, and how much you would charge them. You dont need a lot of clients, to generate a decent amount , at the same time, you could sell your own products as well, whether its ecomm, software ,or info products. which you can use for more case studies!
