Once upon a time, there was a young boy who was assigned to watch over a herd of sheep. To pass the time, he often cried out "Wolf! Wolf!" even though there was no wolf in sight. The villagers came running to his aid, but when they found out it was just a joke, they grew tired of his antics. One day, a real wolf appeared and the boy cried out for help, but no one came because they thought it was just another one of his tricks.
